The grip is coated with three layers of non-slip rubber.
Each layer is applied by hand one by one and let dry naturally for 40 hours.
We chose a mixture to be soft to the touch, but also rather tough to withstand repeated and constant use.

We personally guarantee on each ICHIBAN component, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee also on this rubber coating, as its resistance over time really depends on the type of use and abuse every user will make of the tool.

However, in DIY shops there are products which are quite similar to what we use and consist in liquid rubbers where you have to dip your tool, then quickly take it out and let it dry.
These products are highly toxic, so we recommend that you use them following the package instructions carefully.
